The number one determining factor for fence style replacement or new installation is your HOA. If you own a home in an HOA neighborhood, don’t be afraid as they want you to build a new fence and beautify your home.
Like it or not your HOA has already set a guideline for the styles of fence that can be built in your neighborhood. With that said they may allow you to submit for approval any other styles or changes, but it is something that you want to do prior to getting quotes and ending up frustrated that you cannot have a fence built that you really would like to have.
